Much More Than a JP-08

In 2015 Roland released the JP-08 Boutique, a digital hardware recreation of the Jupiter-8. Although the JP-08 captured much of the magic of the Jupiter-8, the Jupiter-08 goes above and beyond this to give users the classic Jupiter-8 experience like never before in a Boutique synthesizer.

Classic Jupiter Tone

The Roland Jupiter-8 has been heard on countless songs from the '80s with its rich silky sounds and distinctive filters and oscillators. Roland has modelled this classic synth character and response; Analog Behavior Modeling (ABM) aims to reproduce the sound and unique characteristics of vintage synthesizers to make the Jupiter-08 Boutique sound as authentic as possible.

A Mini Jupiter‑8, Expanded

Experience the Jupiter-08 — a faithful reproduction of the front panel knobs, sliders and switches of the classic Jupiter-8 from 1981. On top of that, Roland has added many new features including 32 voices, 64 step sequencer per layer, and a bevy of high quality effects.
